SPPS Apps is a powerful suite of free, web-based collaboration tools provided by Google. It provides users with anytime, anywhere access to communication and collaboration tools, such as Email, Calendar, Docs, Presentations, Spreadsheets, Forms, and Sites. Users may create, share, and collaborate on documents with users inside and outside of the SPPS domain (@stpaul.k12.mn.us).
SPPS Apps accounts are provided for current SPPS students and employees. Accounts are disabled and purged once a student leaves the district or graduates. Employee accounts are disabled and purged when an employee retires or is terminated. SPPS Apps users must take steps to transfer their contacts and documents before they leave the district.
Log in with your Active Directory user name and password (e###### or s######)
Google supports the two most recent version of Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer. Google Chrome browser works best with Apps, but is not available for Mac computers with OS 10.4.11 or 10.5.8.
Internet Explorer 9 is no longer supported. Keep in mind that some functions of Google Apps do not work as intended in some browsers.
SPPS employees are required to forward their SPPS Apps email to their Lotus Notes email. To set up email forwarding, follow the directions in the link below. When prompted to enter the email address, enter your @spps.org email address. By setting up email forwarding, you will only have to check one email address, as all email is funneled into your Lotus Notes email account.
