Theft of District Technology Resources

Immediately report the theft of SPPS technology resources to local law enforcement, the Service Desk, and your supervisor.

Theft Inside the District:

Inform local law enforcement and file a police report.

Submit a service ticket with detailed information about the theft.  Be sure to include the date, approximate time, and location of the theft; a description of the stolen device(s);  and the case number you received from law enforcement. Be as specific as possible.

The Technology Services Department will respond to the ticket during published hours of operation with the IP address and other applicable information about the stolen device.

The site must forward the information provided by the Technology Services Department to law enforcement to be added to the police report.

Building administration must notify the Security and Emergency Management Department of SPPS.
